The S&P 500 ended the day down by around 75 basis points and experienced a 2.6% decline for this week so far. In yesterday's audio, I mentioned that a data-dependent approach would lead to increased market volatility, with the first test coming tomorrow. Many investors anticipated the Fed to pause, but Powell didn't confirm this, so we are now at a data-dependent stage where data will drive the direction of monetary policy.
